Who can see my videos?

Only your team, until you put a video on your website. Customers agree before they send, and you decide what's shown.

  • New videos are private. Only the people in your business can see them in SayCandid.
  • Approved isn't public either. A video shows on your website only after you add it to a widget and press Publish.
  • Your customer agrees first. Before sending, they tick a box that lets you use the video, their name and the role and company they typed, on your website and in ads. You can see when they agreed next to each video, under Consent and file.
  • Recording links are private. They aren't listed anywhere or shown on Google. Anyone who has the link can record a video for you, though, so if a link gets shared too widely, close it and make a new one. See How do I stop a link from taking videos?

On your website

Each video on your widget has a small flag. Visitors can use it to report a problem, for example someone who wants their own video taken down. We review every report.
