How do I get Google reviews from video reviews?
After your customer sends their video, SayCandid writes a Google review from what they said. They pick one, and it's copied for them.
1 min read
Your customer already said nice things on video. SayCandid turns their words into a written Google review, so posting one takes them seconds.
Set it up
- Make a new request, or open one and press Edit.
- Open the After they send tab and pick Google review.
- Paste Your Google review link (see below where to find it). When it's right, it says "This opens your Google review form".
- Press Create and copy link (or Save changes).
The link is saved for your next requests too.
What your customer sees
After sending the video, they're asked "Would you post this on Google too?". SayCandid writes a short, medium and detailed review from what they said. They pick one, change any word, and press Copy & open Google. The text is copied, Google opens, and they paste it and pick their stars.
Where do I find my Google review link?
On a computer:
- Open your Google Business Profile at business.google.com.
- Click Read reviews, then Get more reviews.
- Click Copy and paste the link into SayCandid.
On a phone:
- Search Google for your business name while signed in to your Google account.
- Tap Read reviews, then Get more reviews (or Ask for reviews).
- Tap Copy link and paste it into SayCandid.
"This link opens your profile, not the review form"
You copied the link to your business page. Use the one from Get more reviews instead. It usually ends in /review.
